Hi, I'm Nazmul Hosen

Behind the Code
I’m a Senior WordPress & Technical Operations Specialist in Dhaka. I started in 2011 as a junior web developer, moved into building and implementing hotel software, and later into leading teams and running operations. Today I work for myself, building WordPress plugins and websites for local and international agency clients, from the Figma file to the live site.
Over the years I’ve built for hotels, resorts, schools, travel companies and government bodies. Most of my work is custom themes and plugins, WooCommerce, API and payment integrations, hosting and migrations, and I like owning a project from the first design file to launch day.
A big part of my career has been spent working directly with hotel teams. Since 2013, I’ve worked with hotel managers and front-desk, housekeeping and restaurant staff, helping them get comfortable with FLEX PMS and staying with them when something went wrong. Leading a 17-person team later taught me the other half: what it takes to get things delivered, not just coded.

Career Journey
Self-Employed · Dhaka, Bangladesh · July 2025 – Present
After more than three years leading a team, I went back to building things myself, now as an independent developer and consultant working with local clients and international agencies.
- Turn Figma and Adobe XD designs into responsive WordPress sites for international agency clients.
- Built a multi-restaurant management plugin with POS, QR ordering, subscriptions and AI features, and offer it as a product with a live demo.
- Developed global e-commerce sites with payment integration.
- Handle server migrations, DNS cutovers and SSL setup on SiteGround, Cloudways, DigitalOcean and Hostinger.
- Talk to clients directly: scope, estimates and contracts, so projects start with clear expectations.
Tools: WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor Pro, ACF, REST APIs, Figma, Cloudflare, cPanel/WHM
Flex InfoTech Limited · Mirpur, Dhaka · January 2022 – July 2025
My biggest role: part team lead, part developer, part operations manager. I led 17 people directly (designers, WordPress developers, software developers, Angular/AJAX developers, a database architect and a marketing specialist) and still stayed close to the code.
Leading the team and delivery
- Took projects from the CTO and clients, gathered requirements and sized the work to what the team could actually deliver, so deadlines held.
- Carried projects from planning to deployment and kept supporting them after launch.
- Managed FLEX PMS upgrades and corrections, plus design, front-end, migration and WordPress work.
- Implemented FLEX PMS for hotel clients: setup, testing and hands-on staff training. Stayed in touch with their managers and front-line staff after go-live, and supported them alongside the support team.
Hands-on technical work
- Improved average page load speed by 40% across 50+ websites using Redis, WP Super Cache and Cloudflare.
- Set up Git-based staging-to-production releases with rollback procedures, so updates went live without downtime.
- Fixed emergency L1/L2 downtime, plugin and theme conflicts and database connection failures on client sites.
- Integrated payment gateways, CRMs, marketing automation tools and custom webhooks, and handled bug fixes and security hardening for corporate clients.
Running operations
- Ran day-to-day office operations and was the main link between management, the technical team and corporate clients.
- Hired for the team: wrote job descriptions, screened candidates, ran first interviews and onboarded new people.
- Kept HR records (contracts, salary sheets, leave logs) and handled office expenses, petty cash, vendor invoices, payroll coordination and basic financial reports for management.
Tools: WordPress, Git, Redis, Cloudflare, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, Google Workspace, Excel

- Handled support personally and earned the hotels’ trust by being the person they could call, and who followed up.
- Built responsive websites with PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery, and WordPress/WooCommerce sites using Elementor.
